Toy Truck - the Universal Workhorse
Dump trucks are an integral part of construction sites
everywhere. They are also one of the most veritile toys around.
They can carry dirt, rocks, or other toys, cars, water, mud,
grass, leaves, twigs - there is no limit to child's imagination
and truck's usefullness.
I started with highest rated, simple Sprig Toys Eco-Truck Dump
Truck, freewhelling, with mechanical dump action.
Next we have the Tonka Toughest Mighty Truck by Hasbro - a
tough, big plastic and steel truck. Large wheels make it easy
to navigate rough terrain. Steel truck bed makes it sturdy and
likely to survive whatever your boys and girls can throw at it.
And of course, there is always the old workhorse - the Mack
Truck. Mack Granite Dump Truck is made of plastic, but is sturdy
neverthelss.
No page about trucks could fail to mention a John Deere truck.
ERTL John Deere - 21" Big Scoop Dump Truck is built tough enough
for sandbox, steele parts. Loads of fun.
Talking, driving, lifting, dumping, and even dancing -
MATCHBOX Rocky the Robot Truck
Well, I am not sure what to think about a "dancing" dump truck,
but I guess this is the 21st century, robotic trucks talk and
dance. This Matchbox truck has over 100 phrases to talk to your
child. It goes to sleep, even snores. Sounds like fun.
